Standard Abrasives™ aluminum oxide tapered cone point enables users to access hard to reach areas and internal diameters, as well as deburr holes in the workpiece. The cone shape distinguishes it from cartridge rolls, which have a cylindrical shape. Often used in critical production and maintenance operations, as well as low pressure blending, polishing, cleaning and deburring, tapered cone points offer easy accessibility to tight areas for more precise grinding. Tapered cone points can attach to mandrels of varying lengths to match the application. Standard Abrasives™ aluminum oxide tapered cone point is made with aluminum oxide, which fragments under heat and pressure to reveal sharp cutting edges.
