• The escape and rescue kit is built around the 3M™ and DEUS™ 3700 device, an ultra-compact, ultra-safe descent system
• 3700 controlled descent device allows for a 2 m/sec (6.6 ft/sec) controlled descent
• The oversized control knob is all you need for complete control, even with heavy gloves
• Stop or go and change speed any time during descent
• This all-in-one escape and rescue device allows for a variety of applications up to 590 ft
• Can also be used for rescue training if used with 3M and DEUS 7300 device
• The hand held device is less than 2.5 pounds (1.1 kg) making it easy to carry with you
• No need to double up rope for controlled descent reducing need for longer ropes
• The rope is not integrated which means the same device can be used when new rope is needed or with different length ropes based on working height or training requirements
• 8 mm orange kernmantle rope is lightweight, made of polyester/Technora sheath, Technora core which is fire resistant to 925 deg F
• 4 ft rope-over-wire anchorage connector is rated to 7000 lb
• Rescue transfer unit (RTU) is a mechanical advantage 4:1 system for vertical rescue lifting
• With an RTU kit lifting can be accomplished more quickly and with less effort compared to handle-wheel systems
• DEUS RTU operates independently of controlled descent system allowing for more flexibility in rigging, and wide range of use
